OMNI has allowed us to leverage our PIV cards for use on our MFD fleet. This has enhanced security by giving us the ability to monitor all MFD usage and let us know who is using the devices, when they are using them, and what they are using them for. We have full control over the functionality the user has access to. It has also solved our privacy issue by not having print jobs that were sent to the device lay out in public view. Now these jobs are held at the server level and not released until the user authenticates at the device and collects their print jobs in real time. We have also noted this as a cost savings measure because we no longer waste paper and consumables for uncollected print jobs.

OMNI manages approximately 2,000 of our MFDs and network printers with 1 program manager and 5 on-site technicians. They proactively monitor all equipment for error codes and supply depletion. Upon notification, OMNI proactively resolves the issue and has been able to maintain a consistent fleet uptime of greater than 95% for the past 4 years. They have taken the burden of managing a printer fleet off of our plate and have saved us tens of thousands of dollars in manpower and lost productivity.
